Background & Education

Background

I have been married for almost 20 years to my husband, and we have two busy, fun-loving boys. I am a Christian and I enjoy working with clients who embrace a Christian worldview. I’m happy to integrate faith-based counseling into sessions, for those who are interested. That said, my door is open to people from all walks of life and I do not discriminate against other lifestyles, religions, or perspectives.

My approach is highly relational and I work to create a safe space for you to feel seen, cared for, and believed in. Treatment is tailored specifically for you as we work together.

I have worked in various types of settings as a therapist over the years, including Concordia University Campus Counseling Center, and 2 christian-based counseling centers— one in Orange County and the other one in Temecula. Early on in my career, I also volunteered as a “lay counselor” at my church for 5 years.
